Writing Your Humor Stories with Gina Ramsey

“Where everyday mishaps become meaningful, memorable humor.”

If you’ve ever thought, “Someday I’ll write that funny story…” this virtual workshop is your invitation.

Join us on January 13 and 20 from 6pm to 7:30pm on Zoom.

In Session I, you’ll get grounded in your writing goals, meet your instructor (and her well-loved humor mishaps), and learn to silence fears and imposter monsters. You’ll practice writing without guilt, build strong creative habits, use your senses to bring scenes to life, and discover how humor becomes a healing superpower—both for writer and reader.

In Session II, you’ll shape your comedic story from the ground up. Learn the building blocks of scene, conflict, and backstory, then explore the deeper meaning behind your moments—the “golden nugget.” Through fast-flow writing, guided prompts, and story-crafting techniques, you’ll uncover the heart beneath the humor and walk away with a stronger, richer, more resonant story.

Perfect for new writers, seasoned storytellers, and anyone who wants to turn everyday chaos into unforgettable comedy.
