Join Lake Superior Writers and Studio Café for a BYOT (bring your own manual typewriter) Type In on the last Friday of the month starting at 5pm! Don’t have a typewriter? Studio Café will have some available to try out. Studio Café is located at 102 W Superior St in Downtown Duluth.
On Friday, May 29, LSW and Studio Café plans another Type-In major event! There will be a poetry writing contest – with a topic announced that evening that must be pounded out on the manual typewriters available there (or you can bring your own manual typewriter if you prefer). Entries will be read and winners announced that evening with funky prizes and drawings throughout the evening, 5-9 p.m. Watch for details on Facebook.
Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and start working on a poem or describing a scene for your story or essay! This free event is a collaboration between Lake Superior Writers and Studio Café.
